Lesson Reflextion

Samantha and I based our lesson on the book "New Shoes for Sylvia" by By Johanna Hurwitz. In the story Sylvia's mother helps her write a letter to her aunt.Samantha and I thought that letter writing would be a great skill to base our lesson on since it related to the book. Samantha and I taught our lesson on the last day of presentations, so we were sure the class was going to be wild. The lesson went way better than I expected! Even though we didnt finish our entire lesson, we did get through a lot considering the negative behaviors the "students" had that day. I think our behavior plan went over well with the students. We had every "student's" name on the SMART board with a color coded squares next to their names. Each square represented a different behavior so the "students" could keep track of how they were behaving. Overall I think our lesson went very well and I think it showed in our reviews from our classmates and Professor Luongo.
